The Himalaya are the most important geographical feature on earth, not least because they attract and deflect the monsoon rains and cause precipitation over the 1.20 billion population of India! Since we have the largest archive on the Himalaya in the world, in 2010 we decided to make a TVC that would attract the sophisticated global traveller to visit India and then travel around the Himalaya. We sifted through our best material and came up with this product which was launched on the internet and on various media around the world, in January 2011. We feel this TVC successfully recreates the magic, adventure and excitement of being in the Himalaya and would like it to be shown to a wider global audience, to raise the profile of the Indian Himalaya and make people realize that there is more
