A sad sight as Indians walk past perhaps the most polluted river in the world! And this is the India of G20 and India Shining... Sad. Look at that boat full of detergent and those kids gambolling around in the filthy suds. Is this the reality of life in the New India? Not snowfall in the Himalaya, but detergent effluent foam in India's Ganga-Yamuna riverine system! Snow snow snow everywhere? Yippee, it's winter! Sorry to disappoint, but this is Ganga - Yamuna riverine pollution! Detergent foam flows down the river eternal, to provide that tens of thousands of crores of Rupees have literally gone down the river, and the river remains as polluted, if worse!
