Kedarnath Temple is located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The stone temple has a tall tower topped with a golden pinnacle and a flag. Orange and yellow marigold garlands cover the entrance, while pilgrims gather in the courtyard and walk towards the shrine. Small shops and stalls selling supplies line parts of the pathway. Snow can be seen on the surrounding mountain slopes, and mules and ponies move among the visitors near the temple.
