The Bhairavnath Temple (Bhairav Mandir) sits on a rocky hillock about 500 to 800 metres uphill from the main Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand. Bhairavnath is regarded as the guardian of the Kedarnath valley, and pilgrims often visit his shrine as part of their journey. The snow-covered Kedarnath peaks shine in the morning light, while porters with cane baskets, mules, and pilgrims move along a narrow path lined with tents and shelters. Colourful flags flutter around the small green-roofed shrine, with snow all around it. The footage captures the cold, sacred atmosphere of this high-altitude pilgrimage site.
