Delicate bird of the plains that visits us in the mountains each year: Blue-bearded Bee-eater at Motidhar Blue bearded Bee-eater: Rare sighting of this smart insect eating superb flyer with a beard, in Mussoorie, at the Wilderness Orchard and conservation forests at Motidhar. The natter Blue-bearded Bee-eater wears a bib of sky blue and sits on a mossy branch high above the plains which is its normal and regular habitat. Seen here at nearly 7000 feet altitude at our wildfilmsindia conservation forests at Pari Tibba Estate in Motidhar. Blue-bearded Bee-eater climbs up into the Himalaya and sets a new altitude record Blue bearded Bee-eater / Bee eater at its upper altitude limit, at our wildfilmsindia Motidhar bird sanctuary in the western Himalaya, around Landour in Mussoorie.
