Multiple Himalayan bird species feed on fruit from a wild pear tree (Kaitha) at WildFilmsIndia's conservation orchard in Uttarakhand. A stripe-throated yuhina (Yuhina gularis) picks at fruit, while a pair of Himalayan black bulbuls (Hypsipetes leucocephalus) feed in quick succession. A green-backed tit (Parus monticolus) moves between branches, followed by a chestnut-bellied rock thrush (Monticola rufiventris). A brown-fronted woodpecker (Dendrocoptes auriceps) and a rufous sibia (Heterophasia capistrata) also take turns on the tree. The sequence shows repeated visits and feeding activity centered around a single fruiting source in a Himalayan habitat.
