Kanwar Yatra, one of the largest Hindu pilgrimages in North India dedicated to Lord Shiva. Thousands of Kanwariyas dressed in saffron-colored clothing travel along highways and pilgrimage routes carrying holy water collected from the Ganga River in Haridwar. The scene includes decorated Dak Kanwar vehicles, commercial trucks, motorcycles, and groups of devotees moving together as part of the spiritual journey. Many vehicles are adorned with colorful fabric, religious symbols, loudspeakers, and thematic displays connected to Shiva devotion and the Shravan month pilgrimage traditions. Pilgrims carry kanwars — bamboo structures balanced on the shoulders with water containers attached at both ends — which are later offered at Shiva temples in their hometowns.
