A Red-vented Bulbul (Pycnonotus cafer) perched on a branch within a landscaped tropical garden. The bird is identifiable by its black crested head, scaly brown plumage, white rump, and distinctive crimson vent beneath the tail. Surrounding vegetation includes blooming Heliconia rostrata, commonly known as the Hanging Lobster Claw, with pendulous red bracts tipped in yellow-green. Vibrant pink Bougainvillea bracts are also visible among the dense foliage. Heliconia and Bougainvillea are widely cultivated ornamental plants in tropical and subtropical regions. The video captures the bird resting among flowering garden vegetation.
