Non-stop flow of traffic in the hot afternoons in Delhi summers but surprisingly a lot of bords are spotted on the tall trees. Yes, birds are spotted in the heart of the city. A White-throated Kingfisher sits underneath the shade of leaf foliage shielding itself from the scorching heat. A Rufous Treepie is also seen eating something among the leaves. An adult male Indian Grey Hornbill is spotted with its huge casquet on the head. These birds are rather common in New Delhi and other urban areas as well. They have adapted to the public parks and tall trees and shrubs on the sidewalks of the city streets as well. Notice the beaks of all the birds, they are wide open as they try to cool themselves down. This is called as 'Heat Dissipation' in birds. This footage is part of the broadcast stock
