White-eye bird at its nest at wildfilmsindia city office in South Delhi - Zesterops palpebrosa. Settled in comfortably into its little hammock nest created at the fork of two twigs of an Ashoka tree within our building complex, this cute bird incubates her clutch of eggs with confidence and style. She tweaks and adjusts the fibers within the nest to make sure they do not poke her, in an ongoing housekeeping effort, and plan for a cushiony ride for the chicks that will follow, even as the monsoon winds are likely to buffet the nest and shake it around, in the weeks ahead! Made in the same style of a hammock as employed by the Golden Oriole, this White-eye or Zesterops palpebrosa, has made a similar one at the end twigs of an Ashoka tree.
