These Zesterops palpebrosa couple hover over a small water body and then decide to plunge in, after first hesitatingly approaching the water from a the stem of a small plant. They decide the cool water is much to good a treat to be missed, for fear or predators or any other reason! Oriental White-eye or the Indian White-eye is a small bird green and white in the underside, a distinct white marker around the eyes. These birds are common in urban areas as they are very adaptable to changes in diet. This pair of White-eye is filmed at our Wilderness Orchard in New Delhi. The birds are seen frolicking in a small water hole and you can notice the Red-vented Bulbul is also trying to have a drink. The Indian White-eye birds seem to be in love and at peak mating in this video filmed in late spring
