Captured in stunning slow motion, a Coppersmith Barbet (Psilopogon haemacephalus) clings upside down beneath a tree branch, revealing its remarkable agility and strength. This small, plump green bird stands out with its crimson forehead, yellow cheeks and throat, dark-streaked underparts, and a strong grey beak. Using its bright orange-red talons, the barbet grips the underside of the branch with ease, hanging inverted as it digs into the tree trunk and forages for food. The slow-motion view highlights every detail—from the controlled movements of its feet to the precise pecking action of its beak.
