A duo of Jungle Babbler (Turdoides striata) hatchlings cranes for the parent's attention from below their nest from which they have prematurely fallen. The nest seemed to be in a bamboo thicket with dry bamboo leaves. The parent drops in food in the beak of the bigger chick and seems to ignore the smaller one. Notice the juvenile plumage on the two chicks. Notice the chicks with wide open beaks and shaking their neck in slow motion.
