Short-cut nectaring for apis florea bees! A swarm of Honeybees, Apis dorsata swarm around food items offered by devotees to Hindu gods. Rolling in balls the honeybees swarm on the puffed rice lying on the offering plate. They are joined by some flies sitting on the grains of puffed rice. This has been filmed at the Ganga Nihar or canal from the Ganges in Murad Nagar, UP which is a holy site for devotees. Devotees visit the site to perform religious rituals and Asthi Visarjan or disbursing the ashes of the dead in the water.
