Then they walk along in the group in the hot desert as if they're on serious business. Wild Asses (Equus hemionus khur) in Little Rann of Kutch, Gujarat, India. The Indian wild ass had a range that once extended from western India, through Sindh and Baluchistan, Afghanistan, and south-eastern Iran. Today, its last habitat comprises the Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary, Little Rann of Kutch and the surrounding areas of the Greater Rann of Kutch in Gujarat.
