In a meeting with industrialists this week the prime Minister Mr. Narsimha Rao sounded a note of caution on foreign investment and foreign technology saying there were limits to which India could absorb them. Mr. Rao who was addressing the 67 session of the federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and industry FICCI called the form of Indian Industry to strike a middle part with regard to both foreign investment and technology as well as environment.
