The dramatic high-altitude landscape of Tsaga La Pass, a remote Himalayan mountain pass situated at an elevation of approximately 15,260 feet (4,651 metres). The iconic welcome sign stands amid a sea of colourful Tibetan prayer flags, known as Lungta, which flutter continuously in the strong mountain winds. Surrounded by vast barren slopes and distant snow-covered Himalayan peaks, the pass offers a striking example of the cold desert terrain that characterises the trans-Himalayan region. The camera also focuses on sacred stone shrines adorned with weathered prayer flags and traditional white Khata offering scarves. At the base of the shrine, animal horns left by travellers and local communities serve as symbolic offerings for safe journeys along these challenging mountain routes. Set again
