Driving the long road through the cold high altitude desert-lands of Ladakh in India. Wide open river valleys, broad rugged ranges and green oases near water. Brown and white are the predominant ground colours while the sky gets painted with the moods of the clouds. Human habitations exist and even flourish near water and fertile valleys in this stark barren landscape.
