Annapurna South (7219 meters), also called Annapurna Dakshin or Moditse, is a mountain in the Annapurna Himal range of the Himalayas, and the 10st-highest mountain in the world. On our first day in Kyumi village, we trekked a bit to get a clearer view of the peaks, however, we just managed to catch a glimpse of this mighty mountain due to bad weather and clouds covering the peaks. But then we decided to trek a little further before it rains and we get stuck on a cliff for the night. It was our luck that just after 15 minutes we happened to chance on a clear view of the entire Annapurna South mountain.
