A wild mountainside of forest that is now protected by wildfilmsindia, at Moti Dhar and Chamsari, near Mussoorie, Uttrarakhand. The forest is largely comprised of oak and rhododendron (dark green) with pine at the hilltop (as see in light green). The valley is a catchment for the Rispana river of Dehradun and an important water basin of the lower Himalaya. Thus, the forest conservation and habitat protection work being done by wildfilmsindia here is all the more necessary, to preserve the sub-Himalayan aquifers, and recharge them for the coming drought!
