The Streaked Laughing Thrush is a common hill station bird of the Himalaya, trilling away cheerily in shrubbery, even as the Black-crowned Jay (see here sitting on a Himalayan Cedar or Deodar tree) is less common and is also less often seen, as it sticks to thicker forest cover and foliage.
