Instead of tackling air pollution at the source, the Indian government uses diesel-spewing heavy-duty trucks to spray water on the road, in the ultimate farce to supposedly handle air pollution! A Public Works Department (PWD) anti-smog water sprinkler truck operating on a road in Delhi, India. The TATA utility vehicle sprays water and fine mist using a front-mounted sprinkler system and a rear anti-smog cannon to help suppress road dust. The truck travels through regular city traffic that includes cars, trucks, auto-rickshaws, and motorcycles beneath elevated road infrastructure.
