A Public Works Department (PWD) anti-smog gun truck operating on the streets of New Delhi as part of efforts to reduce air pollution. Mounted on the rear of the vehicle is a large mist cannon, commonly known as an anti-smog gun, which sprays fine atomized water droplets into the atmosphere. These droplets help suppress airborne dust and particulate matter, including PM2.5 and PM10, improving air quality along busy urban roads. The truck carries a large water tank that supplies the mist cannon for extended operation.
