Heavy downpour and flooding in Karnataka Heavy monsoon rains in Karnataka lead to flooding in several areas. Houses are submerged in water halfway. Vegetation around the houses is also submerged in water while a bridge is also nearly covered in floodwater. A man is seen clinging to an electric pole as the raging floodwater sinks everything around. Rescue personnel use rafts in the flood water.
