Two common bird species observed in Wilderness Orchard, New Delhi, India. A male Oriental Magpie-Robin (Copsychus saularis) is perched on a thorny branch, displaying its glossy blue-black upperparts, white underparts, and prominent white wing patch. Nearby, an Asian Green Bee-eater (Merops orientalis) is seen resting on a perch with its bright green plumage, black eye-stripe, and elongated central tail feathers. Both species are widespread across the Indian subcontinent and are frequently found in orchards, gardens, and open woodland habitats. The Green Bee-eater specializes in catching flying insects, while the Oriental Magpie-Robin feeds on a variety of insects and small invertebrates. The video documents these birds perched within a green orchard environment.
