The information bill has been approved, i.e., the IT bill has been approved by both the Houses of the Parliament. Although the opposition protested on both issues during this time, they could not achieve success. Now to legalise the bill all that is required is the signature of the President of the country. Devang Mehta says "Current thinking in government is not a private satisfying authority but their own various agencies and organisation, I think that mindset needs to change. The second problem with the government is that again the bureaucratic mindset is to use the word called controller. Now the internet does not have a controller what it should have had was a facilitator. I hope this kind of small changes here and there would happen in course of time."
