But on the other hand, the argument is that since that some of the best films don't compete in Indian Film festival, it is not worth the while. Unless you make the film festival one of the leading film festivals in the world that cannot happen and that's what I hope would happen from now. Lack of vision and the lack of desire to go beyond the confirms of the Indian government stop the Indian film festival from becoming one of the leading film festivals in the world. Ketan Mehta is one of the most internationally acknowledged filmmakers from India. He has a received many National and International awards for his well-known films like 'The Rising - Ballad of Mangal Pandey', 'Mirch Masala', '
