As the rhino slowly walks away from the waterhole, the elephant approaches calmly, maintaining respectful distance. The female elephant is then observed gently dipping and shaking her trunk in the water, likely taking a gulp of water while also cleaning her nostril openings, a common and essential behavior for elephants.
