Phuloni Village in Assam gets submerged in water as water from nearby rivers and rivulets flows into the village. 1500 houses are submerged and there are no signs of the water receding. Houses, trees and schools are submerged as villagers use makeshift boats to move from place to place. Womenfolk fish in the floodwaters, making the most of a tough situation.
