The Brahmaputra river basin in Assam is one of the most flood-prone areas in India and the frequency has increased over the years. This has been filmed during the floods in the 2020 monsoon. Locals in the flooded regions are seen walking in waist-deep water from their halfway submerged homes while some are moving to high lands on small wooden canoes. Homes submerged in water or flooded and the landscape looks like a river.
