It's important to keep in mind that no matter what trek you do, you're going to have to get a Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) permit. For safety all trekkers' in Nepal must acquire the TIMS card before trekking.

Yaks are synonymous to life at high altitudes, like in the Himalayas. The yaks are easy to spot – they can be up to two meters tall and up to a metric ton in weight.

These baby goats belong to the small yet beautiful village called Kyumi in the Kaski district of Nepal. They can be seen playing about in their stable while some are trying to feed on the mother goat. But it seems even they are shy.
