Landruk is a little village at 1,500 metres altitude, on the trail that leads to the Annapurna base camp. Situated on the mountain's flank, in the middle of terraced rice fields that sculpt the landscape, the little village of Landruk has spectacular views over the countryside that forms part of the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. As you round the corner, you're met by a view of immense snowy peaks, so big that you think they're only a few kilometres away. Which is not the case - you've still got several days to walk ahead of you.
