A team of trekkers and climbers ascending the remote high-altitude slopes of Rudragaira Peak in the Garhwal Himalaya of Uttarakhand. Under clear early-winter skies, the group carefully navigates steep scree fields, rocky ridgelines, and patches of lingering snow while making their way toward a summit rising to approximately 19,200 feet (5,850 metres). The lead climber sets the pace across the barren alpine terrain, surrounded by dramatic Himalayan vistas and towering snow-covered peaks. Bathed in bright mountain sunlight yet exposed to the harsh cold of high altitude, the expedition showcases the endurance, determination, and adventure that define trekking and mountaineering in one of India's most spectacular mountain regions.
