A wandering transvestite or kinner, known derogatively in India as hijra is seen soliticing business and freebies at a traffic light crossing in India. Note that the kinner is wearing a mask, to make the alms asking experience safer for the motorists! It is a relatively common sight to see transvestites asking for money from scooterists and motorists, occasionally even offering sexual favours in lieu of the same. S/he seems to have good pickings and every tenth vehicle she solicits from gives her an offering. She even touches the heads and helmets of scooterists to goad them to give to her! S/he blesses others to reward them for their contributions.
