Dubbed by some as the 'Rain Catcher' the Pied Cuckoo Pied Crested Cuckoo or Jacobin Cuckoo is migratory in India and is spotted during the initiation of monsoons. They migrate to India from Africa to lay eggs in the nest of similarly sized birds like bulbul. Handsomely attired with a stiff crest and perched on a barren tree, this has been filmed in our Wilderness Orchard in Delhi. Monsoon is coming.
