Devotees were in for a surprise as a leopard strayed into centuries-old Sun temple in Junagadh district of Gujarat on Sunday. The leopard was spotted by some children who immediately informed the priest of an adjacent temple who in turn called the wildlife officials. The wildlife team tranquilized the animal, hiding in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, with the help of a tranquilizer gun and took it to Sasan Gir Rescue Centre. The leopard will be released in the jungle today after medical examination.
