A Bay-backed Shrike sits on a branch and looks out for insect prey in the profusion of the monsoons, while a Langur (or that an allied southern sub-species, folks?) brushes off the rain from its fur by shaking it off. An elephant digs into the soft soil near a lake to look for tubers, even as a flock of Green Pigeons dig into mud in a forest pool, looking for insect prey.
