Those embankments along the Beas look rather ugly, with the cementing done in a crude fashion, ruining the banks of the Beas, and constraining the natural flow of the river. A melange of summer-time in Manali views as seen from the air, with the Pir Panjal range in the backdrop, the Solang nullah in the distance, Rohtang pass up above and Vashistha and Prini villages close at hand.
