The collection of the National Museum of Ethnology brings together objects from different parts of the world. In the permanent exhibition, "The museum, many things", stand out: the theater of shadows of Bali; the dolls of southwestern Angola; the lids of pots with sayings of Cabinda; masks and puppets from Mali; popular Portuguese musical instruments; the splints of Rio de Onor and the sculpture of Franklim that result, for the most part, collections studied through an intensive program of internships that the museum has been promoting. It is also worth noting the possibility of visiting two reserve areas: the Galleries of Rural Life and the Galleries of Amazonia.
