ARhesus Macaque resting among tree branches in New Delhi. The monkey is seen with its eyes closed while perched within dense foliage, displaying the brownish-grey fur and pale chest typical of the species. Rhesus macaques are among the most widespread primates found across northern India and are commonly observed in urban and forested environments. These monkeys are highly adaptable and frequently inhabit parks, orchards, temple areas, and woodland habitats near human settlements. The video documents a calm resting behavior of this primate species within Delhi’s green urban landscape.
