What a trail of destruction from this summer squall! Hard wood teak trees are felled like match sticks, and a huge Silver Oak with a giloy, Gulvel or Tinospora cordifolia creeper on it falls to the ground, even as mango saplins are damaged, a neem tree falls onto flowering sunflowers and so much more damage. Lots of clearing up has to take place! Delhi witnessed strong winds with heavy rainfall as 2020 experience early monsoons in North India. July 2nd afternoon experienced a gush of strong winds which caused this sight you are watching. It looks like a mini logging area inside a forest but this is the handiwork of monsoon winds. With bird calls filling the wet forested area in the farmhouse zone in Delhi, hired hands clear the blockages caused by the fallen trees and branches. Huge trees
