This footage from Kaziranga National Park offers a calm and intimate look at one of the region’s most iconic experiences: the elephant safari. In the scene, four adult Asian elephants (Elephas maximus) steadily carry tourists through the grassland as the early light spreads across the landscape. Their slow, rhythmic steps create a sense of ease as they make their way toward a nearby watchtower, a common vantage point for spotting wildlife across the park’s wetlands and tall grass fields. Walking closely behind the adults are their calves, moving with curiosity yet maintaining the natural discipline seen in elephant families. At times, the calves pause to observe their surroundings, while the adults maintain a purposeful path shaped by years of experience along these routes. The environment
