A large military brass band marches in formation along Kartavya Path, formerly known as Rajpath, in New Delhi during the Republic Day Parade. The musicians wear formal white ceremonial uniforms with red accents and dark trousers while playing brass instruments including tubas, euphoniums and trombones. A second uniformed marching contingent in light-coloured ceremonial uniforms follows farther along the parade route. Spectators fill the grandstands beside the avenue, while rows of Indian National Flags line the parade route. The scene shows the ceremonial military bands and marching contingents taking part in India’s Republic Day celebrations.
