Amar Subba being felicitated by Sikkim tourism during Winter Carnival in Sikkim. Amar Subba made a Limca book of record in a solo marathon across the Himalayas. For anti drug awareness, environment protection and for communal peace and harmony Amar Subba ran 450 km across the Himalayan belt. He started his marathon from his village Dharap on 17th January and ended at MG Marg Gangtok on 23rd Jan. On his way he crossed Pelling, Uttarey, Sopakha, Chewan bhanjyang, Sandalphu, Phalut,Hillay, Darjeeling, Siliguri, Teesta, Kalinpong, Rangpo, Pakyong etc. Sikkim gears up for its biggest event, Sikkim Winter Carnival 2014. The Sikkim Winter Carnival 2014 was jointly organised by Sikkim Tourism and Civil Aviation and Government of Sikkim and was started on Dec 14 till Dec 19. The annual tourism fest
