See these bottles of Highland Cordyceps in bottles of Ara, a local alcoholic brew being sold in Paro bazaar. Keera ghas is a sustainable resource that is providing a high source of income to shepherds and villagers in the high Himalaya. Each dried Cordyceps costs between US$10 and US$100 and can be used for performance enhancing. In Bhutan, it is turned into a brew or a drink and kept in the fridge for consumption over time. Shilajit is a Himalayan rock salt that is extracted from high cliffs and also sold in Bhutan.
