Perched upon a moss-covered branch in the forests of Jabbarkhet, a Black Drongo (Dicrurus macrocercus) gazes quietly into the world around it. Though drongos are known for their confidence and aerial mastery, this moment carries a different feeling—one of curiosity, wonder, and discovery. The young bird turns its head from side to side, studying every movement in the forest. Each rustling leaf, drifting cloud, and distant call seems to hold a mystery waiting to be understood. Its glossy black feathers blend with the shadows, while its bright eyes remain fixed on the ever-changing world before it. There is something innocent in its watchful gaze, as if it is seeing the forest for the very first time. Unhurried and attentive, the little observer absorbs the sights and sounds of its Himalayan
