The camera frames long stretches of open water, with only a few boats scattered across the horizon, emphasizing the scale and expanse of the seascape. Surrounding the vessels, numerous gulls—primarily species such as the Brown-headed Gull (Chroicocephalus brunnicephalus)—hover and circle constantly, their calls blending with the sound of the water. At intervals, tourists on the boats toss food into the air, drawing the birds closer.
