The panther or leopard is not a common sight in the Nilgiris and Western Ghats mountains around Munnar in Kerala. However, here in the tea garden of Tea Valley Resort tea garden in Pothamedu, Munnar, Kerala, we came across relatively fresh leopard poo or scat in a forest clearing between the shola forest and tea bushes. Also, hear bird call or Bulbuls in a forest clearing between the shola forest ravines and tea garden even as you see in the distance the results of the monsoon landslides of 2018 with trees having been felled by the landslides, in the distance.
