Roopkund, in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India, is surrounded by high Himalayan ridges, rocky slopes, and distant snow-covered peaks. A drone camera moves across steep mountain terrain, showing exposed rock, sparse alpine vegetation, narrow ridgelines, and broad valleys extending into the distance. Several sections show rugged, brown and grey slopes with patches of snow remaining on higher mountain faces. The footage also reveals a high-altitude trekking and camping area with stone-covered ground, footpaths, temporary shelters, and green tents. The aerial perspective gradually shifts between close views of ridges and wider panoramas of the surrounding Himalayan landscape.
