Side of the streets are lined with frames of bamboo sticks to be made into effigies for Dussehra. The heads are also lines along the street. The body frames are under construction while the completed ones clad in old sarees are also seen. Rows of heads with gigantic mustache figures sticking out of the effigy heads are assembled at the sidewalks by workers. The effigies will be put up for sale to be burnt down on the day of Dussehra.
